CHILD FOCUSED PROGRAMS

The Center’s Vision statement and Aim underpin our program. A specialized vacation care program is written approximately two weeks before the end of the term which is based on the Center’s belief that it is important to create an environment which allows for challenging, fun, child initiated activities. The Children will be actively involved in programming and critiquing program, the child’s wants and needs are our main priority; Child focused encourages and promotes children to input into the centre.  We also access the library Computer room during vacation care periods. A staff member is always present in these areas and children do not leave without a staff member; a mobile phone is accessible.

The Program consists of a variety of in centre activities including; jumping castles, laser skirmish, parachute play, karaoke singing competitions, play station video games, sports games such as soccer, football, basketball, cultural dance and music lessons, remote control car competition, Jewelry making lessons, Zumba fitness, cooking classes, makeup and hairdressing lessons for fashion show and cat walk competition, card making, sewing classes, painting and art and craft activities.
